AS-Built Data / GIS-CAD Specialist

About the Role

NISH Tech BV is looking for an experienced AS-Built Data / GIS-CAD Specialist to support infrastructure data management for a leading Belgian energy and electricity infrastructure organization.

You will work with geographical and asset-related data, encoding underground infrastructure, updates, repairs and civil works information within a customized GIS/CAD environment. The role involves interpreting as-built documentation, following project data delivery, maintaining data quality and collaborating with project stakeholders through acceptance and approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Encode new underground infrastructure at different levels of detail.
• Encode infrastructure displacements and repairs.
• Encode geographical data related to civil works assets.
• Interpret construction and as-built plans.
• Work with project documentation and delivered technical information.
• Follow up on data delivery from infrastructure projects.
• Monitor assigned projects and plan activities accordingly.
• Provide stakeholders with timely project inputs.
• Maintain responsibility for assigned projects through acceptance and approval.
• Support continuous improvement of overall data quality.
• Work within a customized GIS/CAD environment.
• Document work instructions and complex procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with project and operational stakeholders.

Required Skills

Mandatory

• Experience encoding data in a GIS and/or CAD environment
• Experience working with databases
• Experience interpreting as-built plans
• Experience using ticketing systems
• Strong organizational and quality-focused approach
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility
• Ability to document work instructions and complex procedures
• Proactive communication skills
• Team-oriented approach
• Bachelor-level thinking

Nice to Have

• Technical knowledge of electrical installations
• Experience with both GIS and CAD
• Experience in energy or infrastructure environments

Experience

Relevant professional experience in GIS/CAD data encoding, asset data management or a closely related operational data environment is required.
